Job Summary

The Universal Design and Development team is seeking a bright, energetic student to support our department. As a student representative of the office, the student in this position will assist the Universal Design and Development team in the production of videos and other authored content.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the production of authored digital content for support of GGC's academic, business and co-curricular needs. This will include shooting and editing of video, as well as some basic audio recording and photography.
  • Providing livestream and recording support for campus events.
  • Maintaining video archive by cataloging newly produced video as well as continuing the digitization and cataloging of legacy video.
  • Assisting with maintaining video and audio production equipment, including cameras, microphones, lights, etc.
  • Performing some basic maintenance and troubleshooting of both Mac and PC computers.
Required Qualifications
  • Must have a Federal Work Study award and be in good academic standing throughout employment.
  • Must be currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours and be able to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency with PC and/or Mac computers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Punctual ' MUST be on-time for major events and video shoots.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Some video production or event production experience. Experience could include assisting photo, audio, or visual production professionals, school or church audio/visual projects, or high-quality personal creative efforts.
  • Familiarity with Adobe graphic and video design software.
