Job Summary Admissions Processor (Part-Time)

The Admissions Processor is a part-time position, 20-25 hours per week. The position is responsible for processing the mail daily, tracking recruitment and mailing supplies and inventory, data entry, sorting mail, scanning, and responding to some phone calls. The Admissions Processor will report directly to the Admissions Processing Manager.

Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Entering admission application and student inquiry cards
  • Screening online applications and correcting errors
  • Downloading and entering student documents into the student information system
  • Answering and making phones calls when applicable
  • Scanning and indexing documents
  • Processing mail
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • One year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with data entry
  • Effective organizational and time management, excellent communication, teamwork, and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments and work under general supervision.
  • Experience working with an information system (Banner ideally)
  • Minimum education: high school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred
