Position Summary: Gettysburg College invites applications for a one-year visiting faculty position in the Department of Economics (http://www.gettysburg.edu/academics/economics/index.dot) at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor, to begin August 2021. Applicants must have teaching and research interests in macroeconomics. We are particularly interested in candidates with a record of success teaching macroeconomics at the intermediate level or higher. The teaching load is 3-3 and includes principles of macroeconomics and intermediate macroeconomics courses.

Qualifications: The successful candidate should be committed to teaching in the liberal arts tradition and producing high quality research. A Ph.D. in Economics by the time of appointment is strongly preferred.
