The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of treatment of patients with Endocrine disorders. Expertise in the area of thyroid cancer and thyroid nodules is preferred with proficiency in neck sonography and fine-needle aspiration biopsy. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Board certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism is required.
Teaching responsibilities may include conducting clinical and education activities. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to teach in the endocrine fellowship and internal medicine residency programs in the Perelman School of Medicine.
Clinical responsibilities may include providing clinical care for patients with Endocrine disorders including thyroid cancer and thyroid nodules. Selected candidates will be integral members of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism with a practice focus on Endocrinology.
The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per/year of active and high quality teaching responsibilities.
