Job Description Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated person to be part of a collaborative team to investigate mechanisms of cancer immunotherapy resistance. Work involving both cancer cells and immune cells will be pursued, and questions may involve disease mechanisms or novel therapeutic approaches. This individual will primarily assist senior personnel in executing laboratory-based experiments that include various in vitro and in vivo assays, and perform experiments to collect genomic data sets. In addition, the individual is expected to assist in data analysis and visualization using R and/or Python, and various bioinformatics pipelines. The candidate should be willing to work as part of a team, particularly in the beginning, but also individually in order to develop a high level of independence. Working simultaneously on multiple projects or tasks is also expected, as is work during some weekends.

Job Description

Perform in vitro immunoassays, RNA and protein work, and construction of expression vectors.
Perform next-generation sequencing experiments, flow cytometry, and other immunophenotyping assays on mouse and human samples.

Conduct in vivo mouse studies to assay tumor and immune responses to therapies and other immunomodulatory interventions.Perform data analysis using bioinformatics and solve problems using computational biology approaches.

Maintain noteboo.k and give presentations

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 0-1 year of related experience in research and clinical study methodologies or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Working Conditions

Typically standing at a desk or table; Occasional lifting 25 lb. or less
