Job Details

DescriptionWe are looking for two highly motivated data analysts to provide full-time support to the Y-12 National Security Complex through a University of Tennessee subcontract with Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC. One position will be situated within Technology Development and Transfer Program, and the other within Mission Baseline and Indirect Programs.

 

The data analyst will work to build an effective modeling system to track and forecast the organization's expenditures for employees, programs, and revenue systems. Each data analyst will also support the development of program integration with other operational systems to enhance the management and tracking of multiple streams of accounting.

 

The individual for each program will provide data and analysis to support evaluation, research, assessment, strategic planning and management decisions to enhance the organization's mission on activities that include, but are not limited to:

 

• Perform complex data analysis utilizing advanced modeling methods.

• Lead projects within area of specialty, with a focus on monitoring trends and making correlations

across multiple data sets.

• Consult with clients to understand needs and develops tools to collect data or delivers data reports

with requested information.

• Design and develop tools, methodologies, and applications for data collection and reporting.

• Organize results and conclusions for presentation to multiple audiences.

• Create reports which have impact on specific polices or statuses.

• Create policies and procedures for data usage and collection, and develop and deliver training on

reporting tools and programs.

• Conduct data control audits



QualificationsRequired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required.

The successful candidate should have at least two to three years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience in the field of data analytics.

Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Security Clearance.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA in Business Analytics or related field
