Hiring Department Division of IT ResponsibilitiesServe as a Lead Support Role by providing expertise in customer service, system performance and optimization and OS and application problem solving.
  • Extensive responsibilities in tracking software, Cherwell
  • Install and configure desktop computer systems running Windows, Macintosh OS and peripherals
  • Relocate desktop computers, projectors and peripherals in labs, classrooms, and faculty/staff offices as required
  • Coordinate activities with help desk, network services, or other information systems group
  • Effective front-line assistance to customers that are beyond help desk team members capabilities
  • Instill a customer service culture that over delivers
  • Measure and report metrics including survey, incidents and phone statistics
  • Provide first level support to campus faculty and staff in analyzing problems with software and computer functions via the telephone, client office visit or for walk-in traffic.
  • Interact with coworkers and supervisor to determine customer support procedures that benefit the campus community.
Minimum QualificationsA bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Preferred Qualifications
  • One to two years’ experience supporting PC and Macintosh computers is required. Knowledge of tracking software program Cherwell, or other ticket tracking software.
  • Good Leadership skills to assist team members
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Certifications for support of Windows OS and applications (MCP, MCSE)
  • Experience supporting Mac OS & iOS.
  • Install, configure and maintain desktop hardware and operating systems, including installation and verification of peripherals
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • ITSM experience
  • Statistics for phone and ITSM products
  • Demonstrate conflict management and resolution experience
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work independently and with other teams and managers as needed
  • Managed Printing Solutions
