The Nurse Clinical Research I will assume research responsibilities with guidance from principal investigators. Assists with preparation and maintenance of internal and external regulatory documents. Abstracts data from a variety of sources to complete research forms. Creates and maintain confidential source documents and research case report forms for patients. Assists with identification and recruitment of research patients. Assists principal investigators with patient enrollment and obtaining informed consent. Ensures that eligibility criteria are met and post enrollment procedures are performed. Conducts study visits and performs study procedures (as necessary) accurately and per protocol guidelines to ensure reliable results. Educates patients and families appropriately in regard to procedures. Educates and trains all affected clinic/hospital personnel on research study operation and compliance procedures. Assists with patient scheduling for research visits. Assists principal investigators with reporting of serious adverse events. Furthermore, this position will assist in ensuring the welfare of study subjects, and self-evaluates work for completeness, accuracy and compliance to protocol.

In addition, we are looking for experience with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of clinical trial standards.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :
