Position Summary:

The Associate Director of Learning Solutions is responsible for recruiting activities for executive education programs developed and delivered through the Office of Executive Programs in the Terry College of Business. The position involves a continual investment in understanding best practices in executive education and developing personal competencies to meet emerging needs in the market. Primary responsibilities assigned to the position include:
•Corporate engagement and needs assessment
•Business development and client cultivation
•Strategic marketing and enrollment planning and execution
•Achievement of established enrollment and revenue goals
•Program design, development and implementation
•Faculty recruitment, engagement and assessment
•Course evaluation and participant satisfaction surveying

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies:

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
•Proficiency in preparing and conducting small and large group presentations;
•Strong marketing and sales acumen;
•Solid working knowledge of businesses and industry sectors, particularly within the metro Atlanta market region and neighboring counties;

Duties/Responsibilities:

Program Recruitment and Marketing
•Coordinate and conduct detailed needs assessments with prospective and current clients, to deepen relationships and identify skills gaps and learning needs, and to develop programming and measurable metrics that meets client learning and talent development objectives.
•In conjunction with the Business Development Coordinator and Office of Marketing and Communications, prepare high-standard proposals and statements of work in order to secure custom program engagements and manage the execution of agreements.
•Work closely with the Director of Executive Programs and Office of Marketing and Communications to design and implement sales and marketing plans and tactical activities that drive enrollment, including developing and implementing strategies to generate high-quality leads that result in increased program enrollments.
•Working with the Director of Executive Programs and the Finance Manager, develop program pricing and initial program budgets in order to meet revenue targets.
•Prepare, distribute and present reports related to pipeline management, including updates and year-end summaries on lead-through-enrollment conversion rates, marketing costs and campaign effectiveness for open enrollment programs.
•Leverage Salesforce customer relations management (CRM), Pardot lead marketing system, UGA alumni networks, and prospect data system.
•Actively participate in department strategic planning initiatives, including developing comprehensive strategic marketing and enrollment plans.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Program Delivery and Management
•Schedule programs and courses on time and on budget, managing program delivery expenses to maximize achievement of net revenue goals.
•Oversee assigned program managers and support staff responsible for the coordination and delivery of programs and services, including all aspects of recruitment, enrollment, customer assistance and support, scheduling, problem solving, and logistics tasks and assignments.
•Direct operations associated with the effective management of programs, including coordinating services and support provided by other units within the department and through other areas of the college and university (facilities, legal affairs, human resources, business office, finance and budgeting).
•Assess, evaluate and update program content and instructional delivery to ensure continued relevancy and value to attending participants and their employers.
•Survey program enrollees and sponsoring employers to evaluate the effectiveness of delivered programs and instructors, as well as level of satisfaction with overall customer service experience.
•Develop, distribute and present reports related to effective delivery of programs, including updates and year-end summaries on enrollment, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
•Oversee effective use of course registration and Salesforce CRM system and associated marketing communications.

Program Design and Delivery/Development of Instructor Pool
•Coordinate the design, implementation, and management of a suite of programs that meet the current and anticipated needs of the business community and corporate constituents.
•Recruit, assign and engage faculty in the preparation and delivery of programs and talent development services.
•Develop a pool of instructors to ensure instructional coverage of scheduled programs, as well as to cover unscheduled added program opportunities as they arise.
•Conduct new program development meetings, engaging faculty and clients in brainstorming and ideation activities that lead to the design and launching of new programs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Business Cultivation and Development
•In conjunction with the Director of Executive Programs and the Program Managers, participate in business development activities to increase program sales and enrollments, including client prospecting and cultivation, sales calls, promotional events, and outreach engagements.
•Engage business clients and program participants in post-program evaluations, to ensure that all predetermined learning objectives and related metrics are met, and to maintain ongoing relationships that lead to continued business.
•Maintain an active network of senior OD/HR/talent management professionals, including participating in related professional associations and organizations, to stay abreast of current trends in executive education, and to identify and cultivate business development opportunities.
•Other duties as assigned.
