The College of Coastal Georgia (CCGA) seeks qualified applicants for the Part-time Faculty Roster. Part-time faculty will work in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences alongside current faculty members with strong academic excellence and commitment to student-centered teaching and learning.

Essential Duties:

Applicants should exhibit expertise in practice and education related to Radiologic Sciences, particularly the Radiographic Imaging course.
Additional duties may include:

  • Using student-centered teaching/learning strategies.
  • Supervising students in the laboratory setting

Minimum Qualifications and Training:

  • Master’s degree
  • Two years of full-time professional experience as a radiographer.
    The candidate must be in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and possess credentialing in Radiography.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of students

Preferred Qualifications and Training:

  • Have at least one year full-time instructional experience in a Joint Review Committee on education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program.
    Additional modality credentialing is preferred.
  • Demonstrates evidence of recent, successful post-secondary teaching experience.
  • Demonstrates commitment to excellence in teaching, student-centered learning/teaching methods, and assessment.
  • Ability to integrate appropriate technology and software in teaching
