Job Description
A postdoctoral position is immediately available for a candidate to investigate how interactions between B and T cells affect the outcome of Brucella infection in the laboratory of Dr. Jerod Skyberg, Dept. of Veterinary Pathobiology at the University of Missouri (vpbio.missouri.edu). The successful candidate will use employ various mouse models (knockout, transgenic etc.) in conjunction with the molecular analysis of B and T cells to address the goals of this NIH-funded project.
QualificationsCandidate must hold a PhD in a field related to Immunology or Microbiology by the time of employment.
Preference given to candidate with strong background in cellular and molecular immunology.
Experience with murine models, flow cytometry, and molecular biology is desired.
