Job Summary

Manage information technology support for the Office of Scholarship & Financial Aid (OSFA) which administers student financial assistance programs including scholarships, grants, loans and student work arrangements. Support services include new system testing, information processing operations and liaison with campus and external IT support organizations. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance and providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: OSFA management and staff, campus and external IT support services representatives. This position typically will advise and counsel: OSFA management and staff. This position will supervise: unit IT staff.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Lead system testing/implementations for OSFA including student information system and all related technologies.

Job Duty 2 -
Supervise and coordinate daily system operations including loading and transmission to and from external entities.

Job Duty 3 -
Confer with the Office of Information Technology and external service providers on OSFA technology related issues.

Job Duty 4 -
Maintain system documentation and procedures.

Job Duty 5 -
Supervise IT staff to including training, planning and organizing activities and monitoring performance.

Job Duty 6 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience
Five to seven years of job related experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS
This job requires working knowledge of information technology systems specifically BANNER Financial Aid Module, and service requirements associated with student financial aid management. Additionally, skills in supervision, project management, vendor relations, communications and customer service are required.
