Job Description:


The Department of Athletics and Recreation is seeking an Intern Athletic Trainer, beginning immediately. This is a four-month administrative position (February through May) with the possibility of an extension through the 2021-22 academic year dependent upon the employee's performance evaluation. The Intern Athletic Trainer is directly responsible for assisting with the athletic health care of all York College student-athletes, the supervision of student sports medicine assistants, and in assisting the Head Athletic Trainer with all operations of the athletic training room which includes the management and execution of a robust Covid-19 testing program. A competitive hourly rate with room (fully furnished one-bedroom apartment) and board (full meal plan) are provided with the position.



Requirements:


Bachelor's degree from a CAATE curriculum institution, BOC Certification and eligible for Licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, CPR/FA/AED current certification.
