Nature of Work:

Under the direction of the Associate Director of Admissions – Operations, the Assistant Director of Admissions- Operations will be responsible for the management of front-end operations in the Admissions Office, including management of the main Admissions email account, the intake of electronic transcripts, and the supervision of 3 to 5 student leaders who will provide front desk, forward-facing coverage for the office. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the management of residency classification and compliance, to include the management of the verification of lawful presence for incoming students. This position also oversees the processing of paper applications and application updates in Recruiter and Banner databases, as well as serving as a lead in daily admission presentations, residency review, end of term processing, and data integrity.

This position will also serve as a direct back-up role to Associate Director of Operations for day-to-day processing and questions related to residency, lawful presence, student application processing, admissions policies, internal ADC errors, etc.. They will assist with the analysis of data in determining overall Operations strategy and efficiencies. In the absence of the Associate Director of Operations, they will serve in a leadership role for the Operations team.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree required. 2 years Admissions experience required (or relevant higher education experience). Candidate must have previous customer service and supervision experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, Work schedule flexibility, valid Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s preferred. Student Information Systems experience preferred. Experience with front line customer service within an Admissions office, such as answering Admissions phone calls, assisting walk-in traffic, and greeting prospective students is preferred. Experience developing recruitment strategies and a history of meeting enrollment goals.

Salary:

$35,796 (min) - $46,740 (midpoint)
