Position Summary:
Brigham Young University-Hawaii invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Supply Chain, Operations, and Analytics in the Business Management Program to begin September 2021 in the Fall Semester.
The successful candidate will be qualified to teach courses in business analytics and operations, project management, big data and advanced analytics, and Lean Six Sigma. Specific course assignments will depend on the candidate’s expertise and fit with the current Business Management faculty. We seek candidates who are willing to be flexible with teaching assignments. Annual teaching load will be 30 credit hours across three semesters.

Qualifications:
A master’s degree in a field such as business administration, analytics, or supply chain management is required. A relevant doctorate is preferred. Several years of experience in a role focused on analytics, supply chain management, and/or operation management is highly desired. Current certification in project management is preferred. Additional certifications in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Tableau, R, Python, SQL, Lean Six Sigma, as well as Big Data Certifications including, but not limited to, Certified Analytical Professional (CAP), MCSE: Data Management and Analytics (Microsoft), MongoDB Certified DBA, MongoDB Certified Developer, Oracle Business Intelligence are highly valued.
Experience teaching university courses strongly preferred. The candidate is expected to provide evidence of the capacity to develop courses and curriculum, teach effectively, and mentor students. Candidates with a strong global network are preferred.
