Educational and Experience Requirement:Master’s degree in Kinesiology or related field. Four years professional coaching experience in related field. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.
Nature & Purpose of Position:Serves as assistant coach and supervises any special function for the football program.
Primary Responsibilities:Coaches, supervises, and schedules athletic team activities. Monitors and maintains team discipline and moral standards at all times. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Other Specifications:Must have thorough understanding of sports rules, compliance regulations and conference recruiting rules and policies. May be required to teach in an academic program at the discretion of the Director of Athletics. Expected to develop an appropriate rapport with community and University personnel. Must be knowledgeable of all NCAA and conference rules. Must adhere to NCAA and conference bylaws. Must be supportive of institutional compliance and academic programs. Must report all NCAA and conference violations to proper personnel.
This position may be designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA).
