TheUniversity of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences invites applicationsfor the position of Assistant/ Associate Professor in Neurological Surgery. Thisfull- time faculty member would practice General Neurosurgery at UTMC, share inthe call schedule, and serve on academic committees.Qualifications:
The neurosurgeonreports directly to the Chief, Division of Neurosurgery and the Chairman of theDepartment of Surgery and represents the College of Medicine and Life Sciencesto internal and external constituents to promote, facilitate, and disseminate clinical,education and research activities.
TheDepartment is devoted to medical education, clinical service and research. Thesuccessful candidate must possess leadership skills, strong interpersonalskills, and exceptional clinical ability.
Candidatesmust be board certified or board eligible in neurosurgery. Ideal candidates would possess strong clinicalinterest and the possibility of sub-specialty skills such as epilepsy surgery, pediatricneurosurgery, and/or neurosurgical trauma care as well as skills and experiencewith clinical and translational research.Working Conditions:
This position works in a professional clinical and academic office setting.
