The University of Virginia Health System Physicians Group is currently recruiting for a Family Medicine Physician to jour our Primary Care Waynesboro Practice. We currently have (3) primary care physicians and (2) Advance Practice providers. Our office hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm. We offer a (4) day work week, competitive compensation and benefit package, and the opportunity to participate in a loan repayment program.
The UVA Health System Physicians Group is the physician group practice of the University of Virginia (UVA), representing physicians and allied health professionals who provide care within the UVA Health System and regional primary care and specialty practices. The Physicians Group is a distinct organization from the University of Virginia, the School of Medicine, the School of Nursing, and the UVA Medical Center, but works collaboratively with these partners that make up the UVA Health System to provide high-quality patient care. Our physicians serve patients at the main UVA Health System in Charlottesville and throughout Central Virginia, including Culpeper, Richmond, Winchester, Harrisonburg and additional future openings throughout Virginia.

Education: Graduate of Accredited Medical School with Degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO). Completion of Accredited Family Medicine Residency
Licensure: Board certification in Family Medicine or BE. (if newly graduated from residency, must be obtained within 2 years of graduation). Unrestricted license in the State of Virginia or LE
