Position Summary:The Department of Epidemiology seeks a candidate with a doctoral degree in Epidemiology or Statistics with knowledge of causal inference and survival analysis to fill a postdoctoral research associate position. The selected candidate will be involved in manuscript preparation and curation of publicly available software emanating from a grant. Specifically, he/she will be responsible for developing and maintaining a repository of publicly available computer code to implement proposed estimators. They will contribute to the development of the proposed estimators and conduct a wide array of simulation experiments in support the aims. Moreover, they will prepare scientific manuscripts describing and implementing the proposed approach in applied settings, and present findings at conferences. The postdoctoral research associate will attend and prepare material for discussion at weekly team meetings and monthly project-wide meetings.
Educational Requirements:Completion of a PhD in Epidemiology or Statistics.
Qualifications and Experience:Knowledge of causal inference and survival analysis.
