Job Details

University of Denver Golf Club at Highlands Ranch is an 18-hole, semi-private golf club featuring a Hale Irwin designed championship golf course. The course, which opened in 1998, features a great variety of immaculately groomed holes. The 7,179 yard, par 72 layout boasts expansive bentgrass greens that many say are the best in the region.

Position Summary
The positions are non-benefited, part-time and not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year. The responsibilities of these positions include, but are not limited to: booking tee times, checking in golfers, answering phones and retail sales, tee sheet management, practice range and golf cart fleet. Additional duties may include tournament administration, merchandising duties and providing exceptional customer service to the members and guests of the course.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED
  • Flexibility in schedule.
  • Ability to work full-time during main golf season (April-October).
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous golf course experience.
  • Familiar with basic computer programs (MS Word, Excel).
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of staff and customer personalities.
  • Golf playing background.
  • Work Schedule
    Seven days a week, A.M. or P.M. shifts; Seasonal golf course.

    Hourly Rate
    The hourly rate for this position is $14.77.

The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
