Position Summary
This position is responsible for administering a family intervention program to families currently enrolled in a multi-center study. This person would also aid and support the research team as needed. The interventions are a standard, manualized program being tested in a randomized control trial. This position will be supervised by both a local and an off-site clinical supervisory team to ensure appropriate training on and fidelity to the intervention. This is a grant-funded position with a minimum one-year appointment and will be working on newly received funding on a 5-year project and is expected to be funded for 5 years. Continuation is based on continued need, funding and satisfactory performance.

Essential Functions

  • Will be trained in two different interventions and responsible for family engagement.
  • Recruitment of participants.
  • Meetings with families in participants' homes and to start this will be virtual and running validated interventions.
  • Documenting meetings in written reports.
  • Meeting with supervisor, other coaches and graduate students as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Basic mathematical competency, some statistical experience.
  • Good analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Good computer skills to include MS Office.
  • Proficiency with common statistical packages (such as SPSS).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience working with diverse families.
  • Bilingual - Spanish/English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS in Psychology, MSW, or a Master's degree in a related field.
  • 2 years of clinical experience in psychology or a related field.

Work Schedule
To be coordinated with the supervisor.

Hourly Range
The hourly range for the position is $20.43 - $23.00.
