Job Description The University of Missouri Kansas City is seeking a Program Manager II Student Support Services in Residential Life. This position will be accountable for the development of strategies for occupancy management including forecasting, the student contracting and assignment process, management of the housing software and housing website, development and implementation of administrative/business policies and processes, departmental customer service initiatives, and student communications. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Forecast, plan and oversee the Residential Life occupancy strategy; oversee occupancy target development and planning in conjunction with department leadershipAnalysis and improvement of business processes; ensure policies, procedures and practices are efficient, effective and evolvingProvide weekly reports of occupancy, completed contracts and submitted cancellationsEstablish and maintain strategies and practices that outline the application, contracting and assignment process; manage housing & conferencing software, coordinate development of contracts, oversee room assignmentsEnsure that residents and their families are provided high quality and timely service Work collaboratively with representatives of other University departments (Cashier, Registrar, Parking & Transportation, ID office, International Student Affairs, etc.) in coordinated service to studentsWork collaboratively with Conference Services and Residential Life staff in implementation of housing aspects of conferencesPost Residential Life charges in housing software system and ensure they post accurately to student accountsPrepare invoices for camps and conferences that are accommodated in Residential Life facilitiesEnsure and develop superior communications that support the department's reputation and align with campus and departmental priorities; manage the Residential Life websiteSupervise, train, and mentor 3 student staff

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred QualificationsExperience with StarRez software or similar housing assignment application.
Full Time/Part TimeFull time, benefit-eligible
Salary$47,476 - $53,000 annual
