Perelman School of Medicine - Medicine - Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension

The Division of Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. ABIM board certified or board eligible in Nephrology is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching Penn medical students, residents, advanced practice practitioners and nephrology fellows. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high quality teaching.

Clinical responsibilities may include caring for patients in the inpatient setting with a focus on the care of critical care patients and/or onco-nephrology patients. Preference will be given to candidates with additional advanced training or experience in critical care medicine or onco-nephrology.
