Assistant Professor of Computer Science
Briar Cliff University of Iowa, an institution committed to higher education within a liberal arts and Catholic perspective, invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track, assistant professor in Computer Science to start in the fall of 2021. A Master’s degree in Computer Science is required. The duties include a 24-credit teaching load in addition to advising Computer Science majors. Teaching assignments will vary and include both General Education courses as well as major-specific courses. Experience in data analytics is a plus. Willingness to innovatively advance the current Computer Science curriculum is expected and experience teaching online courses is desired. Successful candidates will also demonstrate a commitment to high-quality education in a Catholic and Franciscan University.
