Educational and Experience Requirement:

Associates degree in related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Three years of experience in a related field. Certifications may be required. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.

Nature & Purpose of Position:

Performs advanced specialist and supervisory program work for Admissions and the Admissions Call Center.

Primary Responsibilities:

Performs specialist duties. Oversees the work of assigned call center staff and other student workers. Responsible for hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, supervising and reviewing call center employees and other student workers. Plans, develops, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates programs or services. Responsible for translating the goals and values of the University to all categories of prospective students. Participates in activities involving the projection of the University’s image to the public. Secures for the University the students who can best profit from the educational opportunities offered by the University. Assists in developing policies and interprets policies and procedures. Compiles, tracks, and reviews data and reports on the effectiveness of program activities. Prepares, reviews, revises and distributes documents and correspondence. May be responsible for planning, directing, supervising, and participating in special projects. Assists in the recruitment of students and application review. May assist undergraduate admission counselors when needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Other Specifications:

Requires a general knowledge of standard office functions. Requires good knowledge of procedures and practices. Must be able to use standard office software. Advanced knowledge of outlook is beneficial. Must be able to apply policies and procedures and solve routine problems of a repetitive nature. Schedule varies. Some evening work hours required.
