POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides support services for the Dean and Division Chairs in their respective administrative responsibilities related to faculty, curriculum, budget, staff and support services, programs, and students. In addition, assists supervising student workers, and general office and professorial responsibilities as needed. Additionally, provides services for program coordinators and faculty in the School of Theology and Ministry as directed by the Dean.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

Reports to the Dean of The School of Theology and Ministry in matters pertaining to the operation of the office.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Associate’s degree/equivalent or two year’s office experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Noggle Building Coordinator and Office Manager. Coordinate appointments and scheduling meetings for Division Chair(s).Take, distribute, and keep electronic files of minutes for any divisional meetings as requested.Assist with catalog revisions.Tracking, balancing and maintaining budget, purchasing office and kitchen supplies.Monitors use of the department credit card, issued in his/her name.Prepare and submit conference services requests, work requests for Noggle Christian Ministries Center, hardware/software requests, key requests, etc. for faculty and staff.Maintain and compile syllabi for the faculty.Assist the division chair with preparation of class schedules and classroom assignments.Gather data for student scholarships.Maintains accurate, detailed database of our students.Track and keep an updated file of alumni of the School of Theology and Ministry.Tracking student applications to the major.Working with Financial Aid to track Wesleyan students for Wesleyan student loan grants.Schedule and organize ceremonies/banquets (new students, consecration service, graduation, convocations, colloquiums, guest lectures, lodging)Maintaining statistical reports.Attending support staff meetings.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

Serve as direct supervisor of STM part-time administrative assistant.Serve as direct supervisor and coordinate assignments for Division student workersQUALIFICATIONS:
