ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES DEPARTMENT COORDINATOR
Academic, Full-Time, 10-month, $57,995 - $103,454/ annually

Under the general direction of the Vice President of Instruction and within the Professional and Technical Studies Division, FRC seeks an Instructor for a tenure track position to teach in the area of Environmental Studies (ENVR), and to actively participate in program development, recruiting, and other initiatives in support of this program. The successful candidate will work to support an integrated, multidisciplinary undergraduate curriculum designed to meet the needs of vocational and transfer students. The instructor in this position will be responsible for Environmental Studies curricula focused in the areas of watershed restoration and ecosystem management and for program coordination of the Environmental Studies Department . Requires Master's degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or closely related field and demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic and socio-economic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students and staff.
