Family Nurse Practitioner Faculty Position
The Department of Nursing at Briar Cliff University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position to teach in the primarily online Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and post-graduate APRN certificate programs as well as other graduate nursing courses with a start date of Summer 2021. The position includes teaching responsibilities, clinical supervision, and coordination with other faculty in the FNP track.
In a wide variety of situations, the candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Additionally, the candidate will have prior experience in working with graduate nursing students. The candidate will possess a minimum of an MSN degree, be board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and be eligible for APRN licensure in Iowa. Two years of clinical practice as an FNP are required.
