The School of Molecular & Cellular Biology in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign seeks an applicant for a teaching position in the discipline of neuroscience at the rank of Instructor or Lecturer. The position involves teaching a range of courses in the school.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Teach 5 courses, or equivalent, in any Fall, Spring, and Summer cycle. These may include large courses, multi-section lab courses, and small discussion sections.
- Supervise TAs for these courses.
- Devise and deliver assigned courses, maintain and improve current course materials, develop course content as needed.
- Assist the MCB Instructional Program team in supporting students in the School of MCB by participation in academic advising, mentoring, recruitment, and other ways as needed.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in neuroscience or related area for Instructor.
- Ph.D. in neuroscience or related area for Lecturer.
- Teaching experience at the college or university level
- 2 years of experience teaching at the college or university level
- Evidence of instruction that includes student-centered practices
