Physical Requirements:Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time; performing repetitive motion tasks; regular job-related travel; effectively communicating with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Shift:Typically days with core working hours around 8:00am to 5:00pm (40/hrs a week). Some evenings/weekends as needed to meet workload demands.
Job Summary:Serving the Salt River Trail region of Kentucky, this Early Care and Education Training Coach position works closely with the state funder to ensure child care providers have access to quality training. This fits with the goal of promoting high quality early care and education opportunities for all young children, including children with disabilities.
Responsibilities include coordinating the provision of scheduled training sessions based upon training needs assessment; providing support to early care and education trainers to promote quality trainings through Cabinet-approved Quality Assurance process; recruiting trainers as needed to ensure training coverage in the region and provide assistance to potential providers; and providing Train the Trainer sessions as directed by Kentucky Partnership. Travel within Kentucky is required.
