Counseling and Human Services

Job Purpose:
The University of Scranton's Department of Counseling and Human Services has an ongoing need for highly qualified part-time faculty to staff a variety of courses each semester in the fields of Counseling and Human Services. Part-time faculty may instruct one or more courses each semester on an “as needed” basis.

Essential Duties:
Adjunct faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s); prepare course materials; provide support and guidance to students; and report grades.

Additional Skills Required:

Minimum Education Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis or related majors.

Preferred Education:
ABD or PhD in Counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related majors.

Minimum Job Experience Requirements:
Previous teaching experience and a willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications related to area of expertise: LPC; NCC; CRC; BCBA.
