Job Purpose:
The Department of Nursing seeks qualified adjunct faculty to teach in its undergraduate and graduate Nursing programs. Areas of particular need include fundamentals, community health, medical-surgical, obstetrics, psychiatric, pediatrics nursing, physical assessment, and pharmacology.
Essential Duties:
Adjunct faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s); prepare course materials; provide support and guidance to students; and report grades.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Preferred Education:
Preference will be given to candidates who have a Masters degree in Nursing. As per the PA State Board of Nursing, candidates must obtain a Masters degree in Nursing within 5 years of initiation of a teaching position.

Experience in the clinical setting; previous teaching experience and willingness to be flexible in class scheduling

Complete applications are to include a cover letter and CV. This is a pooled position from which Adjunct/Affiliates will be hired. This pooled position will serve as an electronic file and replace receiving paper CVs. As openings occur, we will draw candidates from this pool until May 2021.
