The University of Virginia's College at Wise, a division of the University of Virginia, is a nationally ranked four-year, undergraduate, public liberal arts college located in the scenic mountains of southwestern Virginia invites applications for an Admissions Counselor in the Office of Admissions. Duties include:

• Advise prospective students, parents, and families about the application process, fielding routine inquiries and providing resources.

• Organize recruitment events and conduct information sessions for prospective students.

• Participate in reviewing applications.

• Maintain and organize prospective student files.

• In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree.
