Job Summary
This position will assist the Residence Life professional staff at the different office locations (Clearview Hall, Courtyard, and RiverPark), as well as students and their parents. The selected candidate will directly report to Residence Life Coordinator and the Graduate Assistant (Clearview, Courtyard and RiverPark), depending on which housing area the candidate is assigned. (Summer applicants/candidates are not required to take classes during summer but MUST be enrolled for the fall semester.)

Responsibilities
    Front Desk Operations - Students will assist through clerical office duties such as answering telephones with proper etiquette, displaying excellent customer service skills, enforcing Residence Life policies and procedures, assisting students with lockouts and maintenance, cable, or internet issues, maintaining the front desk and storage areas as needed, supporting professional staff with Residence Life projects, and other duties as assigned. Tours- Students will assist in marketing housing by providing detailed tours (first-year housing areas only) to our current and prospective students and their parents. Check-ins/Check-outs - Occasionally, students will help residents during check-ins, check-outs, and room change processes.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate should have prior experience of living in housing and must currently be enrolled at CSU. The selected candidate should also possess excellent customer service skills as well as written and oral communication skills.

Student Assistants must be able to return to campus before classes start and stay after finals (dates can vary and will be communicated).

Preferred Qualifications
Students currently living in campus housing are preferred.

Proposed Salary
The salary is commensurate with education and experience. This position can work up to 25 hours per week.
