Job Summary
The primary role of Campus Mailroom Assistants is to process and distribute incoming mail to employees and students in a college setting. They log incoming mail as required. Assistants also deliver mail and packages from one department to another within an office. In addition, Assistants handle all outgoing packages, which include packaging items, ensuring proper labeling and directing the proper carrier (UPS, FedEx, or other carrier).

Ability to recognize and adhere to postal and privacy rules and regulations at all times; ability to quickly learn assigned tasks including to operation of standard equipment; ability to assist customers in a pleasant and courteous manner and the ability to make routine arithmetical computations quickly and accurately.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and operation of basic office equipment.

Proposed Salary
The salary is commensurate with education and experience. This position can work up to 25hours per week

Work Schedule

To be able to start between 8am and 10am.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periodsand the ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
