Admissions Counselors perform administrative responsibilities, including preparation of marketing materials, coordination of admissions interviews and programs, advising prospective and current applicants, and supporting the initiatives of Deans and Directors. They provide front-line services in executing daily operations of an admissions office, such as fielding questions from current and prospective students. There may be some limited oversight responsibility of administrative support staff.
- Advise prospective students, parents, and families about the application process, fielding routine inquiries and providing resources.
- Organize recruitment events and conduct information sessions for prospective students.
- Participate in reviewing applications.
- Maintain and organize prospective student files.
- In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
