Position Highlights:

The Human Rights Practice Program in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences is seeking a Career-Track Assistant Professor to develop and teach two courses for the online Bachelor's degree program. This position includes community engagement work exploring connections between the Human Rights Program and indigenous rights groups, including developing community projects for Problem-Based Learning assignments for classes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop two Human Rights courses for the online environment
  • Teach two Human Rights courses online
  • Develop and grade exams and assignments
  • Assign projects
  • Coach Students
  • Hold regular office hours
  • Establish community partnerships with indigenous rights groups, line up guest lecturers, and community projects for
  • Problem-Based Learning assignments for Human Rights classes
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Human Rights or related field of study
