This position is to support applied research on the development and application of advanced computational, opto-electronic, quantitative 3D imaging, and ultrasound methodologies for advanced nondestructive testing applications.JOB DESCRIPTION
This position involves working with an interdisciplinary team of world-class engineers, students, scientists, and medical researchers in the areas of miniaturization engineering and nondestructive testing. The Research Associate fellow is expected to lead and contribute to the development, realization, and acquisition of scientific instrumentation to upgrade capabilities of CHSLT. The Research Associate fellow will help support application of the upgraded capabilities to projects currently being supported at CHSLT.

Applicants are expected to have earned a Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or a related field. Knowledge of scientific programming and data analysis, computational modeling, and experimental procedures are expected.
