Position Highlights:

This position will be responsible for planning, recruiting and facilitating community education and engagement in the areas of nutrition, parenting, and financial literacy. This position will promote physical activity and healthy environments for children and families living in Leupp, Arizona through the SNAP-Ed nutrition education program. This position will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating policy, system and environment strategies and providing direct education to the Native American population. This position will also deliver single and series-based classes in the areas of financial literacy and parenting. Financial literacy education will be provided to a variety of audiences including adult and youth throughout Coconino County. Parenting education will be provided throughout Coconino County.
This is an Extended Temporary Employment (ETE) position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Organize, support, and evaluate policy systems and environment strategies in Luepp, AZ.
2. Plan and deliver lesson plans according to approved curricula.
3. Attend training and professional development courses as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required.
High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
Ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.
