The Department of Chemistry at Boston University invites applications from outstanding candidates for the position of Lecturer starting July 1, 2021. This position requires a Ph.D. in Chemistry, with a preference for candidates who have substantial experience in teaching experimental physical and analytical chemistry. Duties include coordinating and leading the laboratory component of a two-semester intensive general chemistry course, as well as one-semester advanced laboratories in analytical and physical chemistry. Candidates with an interest in developing innovative pedagogical approaches in laboratory chemistry instruction are especially encouraged to apply.
