The Library Services Desk Assistant is responsible for providing front-line services at the Library Services Desk. The position will work up to 24 hours per week. Duties will include opening and/or closing the library according to the established library hours schedule, providing basic library information assistance (in-person, email, and chat), responding to patrons' needs and questions, checking in/checking out library materials, responding to building emergencies, and ensuring appropriate use of library resources and facilities. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and two (2) years of customer service related work experience. An associate's degree is preferred.
