Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.:

Proficiency in budgeting (SAP or a similar software), travel coordination, and vendor communication/payments.
The ability to communicate and problem solve effectively in an organizational setting. Proficiency in general office and administrative support duties.
Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities, including multitasking with frequent interruptions.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Google documents.
Excellent proofreading and editing skills as well as knowledge of best practices for social media.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, in collaboration with others, and with detailed reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with camps/festivals, scheduling events and/or spaces. Knowledge of design software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat. Experience working in higher education and/or the arts/music. Bachelor’s degree.

Job Description:

Responsible for providing administrative and general clerical support to management/staff within assigned division/department or unit.

Job Duties:

Responsible for all accounting, purchasing/payments, Touchnet, vendor maintenance, scholarships/performance grants, music rentals, holds, travel, camps/festivals, one-time funding, etc. for the Choral and Opera Areas as well as the Hill Country Youth Chorus outreach program.
Maintain music event and daily room scheduling/calendars.
Prepare performance/concert programs.
Assist with School of Music publicity & social media.
Coordinate building maintenance and inventory.
Other duties as assigned. Occasional responsibilities on weekends.
