Advertised Job Summary:The Interim Head of Circulations will be responsible for the management of the operations and services of the Thomas Cooper Library Circulation Department. Responsibilities will include: recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate personnel in the Circulation Department; responsible for maintaining operating hours of Thomas Cooper Library, including opening and closing the building; circulating library materials to patrons and ensuring accurate records; and developing and implementing library policies.
Qualifications:Master’s degree in Library and/or Information Science from an American Library Association accredited institution. Three years of experience working in academic libraries. Supervisory experience required. Experience with Alma Integrated Library Management System from ExLibris preferred.
