Suicide Prevention Project Support Coordinator

Please be aware that this position may be filled through a direct intra-departmental promotion. Qualified applicants who currently work in the hiring department may be given preferential consideration.

The Missouri Institute of Mental Health (a research institute at the University of Missouri-St. Louis) has an opening for a full time Project Support Coordinator to work on Suicide Prevention Projects.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILISTIES

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Assisting lead evaluator and project director in daily activities of the evaluation
  • Written and verbal communication with collaborating agencies and team members
  • Monitor grant required data collection for multiple suicide related grants; including data entry and tracking
  • Support the STL Suicide Prevention Coalition initiatives (scheduling meetings, taking minutes, preparing documents and presentations)
  • Prepare reports and briefs in a timely and efficient manner
  • Attend project meetings and events, including travel as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications: Possess an understanding of suicide and mental health and at least 1 year experience in a mental health organization
