Perform a variety of nonprofessional nur sing duties in the direct careof patients under the direct supervision o f an RN/LPN. Perform a varietyof clerical duties involved in preparing, maintaining, and processingpatient,unit (s) and hospitaldata and record s toinclude operating theorganization's patient care information systems .
Administer treatment and personal ca reprocedures to patients including,but not limited to, feeding, bathing, shaving changing clothing,cleaning and trimming fingernails, bed-making ,assisting withambulation, enemas, skin care, and bowel and bladder elim ination;provide such additional care as required to meet the personal ne eds andcomfort of assigned patients.Perform a variety of selected patien tcare tasks under the direction ofan RN/LPN to assist medical and nursin gpersonnel in the examination,treatment and care of patients.Retrieve an drecord patient data in electronic medical records (EMR) andreport to Nu rse noting any new abnormal changes in the patient'scondition.Participat ein the transport of patients.Clean assigned area; stock and replenishsu pplies and equipment asrequired.Perform a variety of clerical tasks invo lved in operating theorganization's patient care information system.Ackn owledge orders onEMR task list , verify printout and input verifiedorder s to requestdiets, treatments, nursing services, equipment and diagnosti c andlaboratory tests and procedures.Assemble and maintain patientcharts from admission through dischargePrepare and upload paper documentsintoth e electronic medical record(EMR).Exhibit professional communication skil l when answering the telephoneand interacting with patients, visitorsand other staff members.Navigate electronic medical record, accesspatient i nformation, generatereports, schedule appointments and manage task list. Use available technology to request and coordinate patient transport.Ass ign nursing staff to communication systems. Perform otherrelatedduties incidental to the work described herein.

Degrees, Licensures, Certifications
BCLS certification must be maintained/completed by the end of the orientation period. A valid North Carolina driver's license may also be required.
