Physical Requirements:

Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff. Must be able to move about in a complex physical environment, while sitting for extended periods of time.
Assist with all Transfer Center Manager duties as delegated


Must be able to work 40hrs per week, and be flexible to work variable shifts that include Days, Evenings, Weekends and Holidays.

Job Summary:

This position will support the Transfer Center Director in leading nursing staff and operations. This position will analyze data and help make operational changes to support UK Healthcare. He or She will be intimately involved in the throughput of the entire Enterprise.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:

BLS plus unit specific competencies/certifications such as PALS, ACLS, etc.
Strong communication skills, problem solving, thinking/reasoning, analytical detail, ability to multitask effectively with interruptions

Microsoft Word, Excel,
