The Department of Internal Medicine – Medicine Specialties Clinic seeks an individual to provide front desk registration and scheduling services in a busy Pulmonary and Gastroenterology outpatient clinic practice.
Duties include, but are not limited to: registration, copay collection, chart preparation, scheduling appointments for new and returning patients, communicating information with patients via the telephone and in person, and answering telephone.
This position supports efficient patient care and clinic initiatives for improving patient attendance and keeping attendance records.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
This position requires the ability to multi-task, provide exceptional customer service, accurately type at a minimum 60 WPM, attention to detail and excellent communication skills – both in person and on telephone, as well as organizational and computer skills.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :
