This faculty member will be responsible for designing, performing, and interpreting different experiments related to the projects performed in the lab.  These include, but are not limited to the studies of tumor cell biology, development of novel anticancer therapeutics and develop strategies to overcome therapy resistance in prostate and bladder cancers. The faculty member will also be responsible to assist in overseeing and supervising different research projects in the lab by advising, developing and writing manuscripts and grant applications.  In addition the candidate is expected to receive his/her grant support within three years.



Planning and Design - 50%

Planning, designing, and performing research projects and analyzing the data from these research projects

Assist with Grant Writing - 20%
Assist in grant writing and submission/Scientific manuscript writing and submission


Assist with Mentoring - 20%
Assist in mentoring and supervising graduate students, research assistants and research associates.


Administrative Tasks - 5%
Performing administrative and managerial tasks in the lab


Assist with lab meetings - 5%
Attend lab meetings and discussions of results from research projects


Minimum Requirements         

PhD or equivalent
