Job Description Summary

This Project Coordinator position is supporting day-to-day operations of various research studies with the Psychology of Eating And Consumer Health Lab at the Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics. Responsibilities include: contributing to study planning and implementation; overseeing participant recruitment and
enrollment; overseeing and managing study research assistants; and assisting with grant reporting and manuscript preparation as needed.

Job Description

This position will support day-to-day operations of research studies with the Psychology of Eating and Consumer Health (PEACH) Lab. The main study this position will coordinate is a randomized control trial examining a behavioral economic intervention at a local food pantry in Philadelphia. Responsibilities include: contributing to study planning and implementation; overseeing participant recruitment and enrollment; overseeing and managing study research assistants; and assisting with grant reporting and manuscript preparation as needed.

Qualifications
BA/BS in nutrition or public health-related field and 2-3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required; strong organizational skills; experience carrying out health policy or public health research a plus; clinical research experience working with older and/or Russian-speaking populations preferred; excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint. A successful candidate will demonstrate cultural competency and ability to contribute to the Lab’s goals of anti-racism, equity, and inclusion. Background check required.

This position is contingent upon funding.
