Position Summary:The Department of Computer and Information Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Systems (broadly defined to include operating systems, cloud computing, computer networks, mobile systems, IoT, computer architectures, parallel and distributed computing, etc.) to begin in August 2021. The successful candidate will demonstrate not only potential for excellent undergraduate teaching, but also promise in sustained research with opportunities to involve undergraduates, mentoring, and service to the department and College. The ideal candidate should be able to teach courses within the core curriculum of computer science, including: operating systems, computer organization, computer networks, and introductory programming courses.
Qualifications:Ph.D. in Computer Science or related fields.
